I opened AK Boutique at 17 years old with $50, space in my mom’s garage, and an extremely vivid imagination.
By using personal finance books, online resources, and mentorship programs, I scaled my boutique from a scrappy garage operation to two brick and mortar stores with employees and over $300,000 in inventory.
I fell in love with financial planning and chose to move my business online to pursue higher education. In addition to working toward my CFP hours, I am currently a Master’s Student in Management at Gies College of Business and maintain an online presence.
I volunteer my time in Financial Literacy to give back. I also believe that my previous success in entrepreneurship will help me build an excellent financial planning career.
The Financial Literacy Diaries is my education initiative that make financial education accessible, accurate, and approachable. I'm focused on closing the adult financial education gap through personal narrative and inviting conversations.
I volunteer my time as the Director of Public Relations for the Financial Literacy Foundation, A non-profit organization helping you have a better relationship with money through education and support.
Before I even thought about starting a business or pursuing a career in financial planning, I was an actress and model who competed in pageants. I began gaining relevant work experience at the age of 10 with the support and supervision of my mother.
My unique experience as a model, actress, and Miss Jr. Teen + Miss Illinois United States (2015 and 2023, respectively) has given me the opportunity to gain skills in public relations and outreach, media training, and prospecting.
I am currently represented by Images Agency in St. Louis, Missouri for commerical projects.
Performing Arts will always be my passion. If you are interested in booking me for a film project, find my information on IMDbPRO.
