I am a passionate financial literacy advocate and CFP candidate making personal finance approachable and enjoyable! In addition to being an Extern, I am also Miss Illinois United States 2023, the founder of The Financial Literacy Diaries, Director of Public Relations for the Financial Literacy Foundation, Master’s of Science in Management student at Gies College of Business at UIUC (a Forbes New Ivy), and a retired Army veteran.

I developed my passion for personal finance when I was 17 and chose to start a boutique. I dove into books and online resources to learn what I didn’t get taught at home or in the classroom. I had no idea that Financial Planning was an option in college until I was placed in the program after not being accepted to the undergrad Accounting program. Now, I get to work full-time and volunteer in financial services.

In my free time, I am writing my first book and I enjoy performance arts.
